STOP Distracted Driving 5K Fun Run/Walk

On April 4, 2020, the Peyton Irwin Memorial Scholarship Fund is organizing the STOP Distracted Driving 5K Fun Run/Walk. The purpose of this first annual fun run is to spread awareness about the dangers of distracted driving. Each participant can either walk or run in the race and then receive a T-shirt. The proceeds from the race go towards the Peyton Irwin Memorial Scholarship Fund to help give students scholarships and teach more about distracted driving.

Wiesner of Huntsville is sponsoring this event with the hope that drivers will be more alert and attentive on the road.

Parade of Playhouses

Parade of Playhouses raffles creative clubhouse buildings to raise money for children who have been neglected or abused. Organizations, corporations, architects, and builders create and then donate children's playhouses to provide funds for CASA of Walker, San Jacinto and Trinity Counties. In 2019, CASA held a raffle for four different playhouses, and people could purchase raffle tickets in different locations, including at Wiesner of Huntsville.

CASA aims to help find safe homes for children that have been abused. By sponsoring the Parade of Playhouses' raffle, we at Wiesner of Huntsville are happy to help make a difference in children's lives.
